Business Analyst

Quik’s Farm Ltd. is a wholesale cut flower grower based in Chilliwack, BC, with over twenty acres of indoor and an additional twenty acres of seasonal outdoor growing space. Quik’s Farm is geared towards the intense production of cut Chrysanthemums, Oriental Lilies, Alstroemeria, and other seasonal crops utilizing state-of-the-art growing systems and leading-edge technology to produce high quality products for our diverse customer base throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest USA.

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team. In this full-time position, the ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analytics to comprehend company procedures in addition to a unique blend of problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to convey complicated information clearly and practically. This individual will oversee the IT department and will report directly to the Business Development Manager.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states.
  • Propose and design technical and process solutions that meet business needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the IT team and other departments to implement solutions and ensure they align with business goals.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to the management team.
  • Create detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and solutions.
  • Participate in testing and validating new systems and processes to meet business requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information management, economics, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a business analyst capacity.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with business process modeling and documentation tools.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.


Salary Range:  $30.00 – $36.00 commensurate on experience.

This position may require you to work on Saturdays and Statutory holidays. There will be no Sunday work.
